Weyerhaeuser Recreational Access Guidelines

Access consists of Recreational Access Permits, Leases, and Conditional Free Use areas within the 212,000 acre Millicoma Tree Farm.
Recreational Access Permit Area and exclusive Recreational Lease information in addition to Maps of all the areas of access to the Millicoma Tree Farm are available for viewing and/or downloading at Weyerhaeuser Recreational Access Guidelines.
For people who do not want to purchase a permit or lease, Weyerhaeuser has designated four (4) conditional free use areas. Maps are available showing the conditional free use areas at our website.
Weyerhaeuser will issue free South Fork Coos River Fishing Access Passes that will allow access to the South Fork Coos River, up to the 7 mile bridge, from December 1st to March 31st. This access pass is good from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. For access upstream from the 7 mile bridge, a Millicoma Recreational Access Permit is required. The South Fork Coos River Access Pass may be picked up during business hours at the Dellwood Office after November 15th.

The following rules apply to the Millicoma Recreational Access Permit and conditional Free Use Areas:
Please, obey all posted signs.
No littering or garbage dumping.
No fires, at any time, even during hunting season.
No smoking outside of vehicles.
No camping, at any time, even during hunting season.
No ATV’s, UTV’s, or off road motorcycles are allowed at any time.
No Off-Road driving; you must stay on improved roads and on your side of the road.
Use headlights and seatbelts at all times while traveling.
Speed limit is 35 MPH unless otherwise posted or if driving and/or weather conditions require a reduction in speed.
Do not block gates with vehicles. Vehicles blocking gates can/will be towed at owner’s expense.
No firewood cutting or removal of forest product/floral greenery without a Recreational Access Permit.
No weapons (except for those used legally for in-season hunting).
No illegal drug use.
No alcohol use.
Report illegal activities to local law enforcement.
Report vandalism, dumping, and/or inappropriate activity to CoosBay.Recreation@weyerhaeuser.com .
Commercial Mushroom/Floral Greenery permits will be $250.00 and in effect from December 1st to March 31st, at the Dellwood Office during normal business hours. This permit is good from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. The permits may be picked up during business hours at the Dellwood Office after November 15th.
All Access may be restricted at any time, particularly during fire season.
Active logging operations are always restricted.
