Jim, welcome to the Forums. You have a lot of choices to choose from. For digging razor clams we recommend any of the Clatsop beaches, however the beaches are closed to the taking of razor clam because of the high levels of Domoic acid contamination. Always check the Shellfish Hotline prior to digging clams or crabbing for areas closed because of elevated levels of marine toxins. Oregon's Bays have a variety that will satisfy you and your family. We recommend Netarts and the Garibaldi tidal flats for bay clams. For shore based crabbing we recommend 12 th Ave in Seaside, the fishing pier off of 12th Ave and 7th Ave in Garibaldi, We recommend the sandy shore at Happy Camp at Netarts Bay using a Crab Max folding crab traps. We recommend The Jetty Fishery in Nehalem Bay but they charge to crab from their docks. For additional information go to my new website, www.milebymile.info. Good luck Bill

Jim, I am interested in crabbing from the rip rap rocky structure of the South Jetty of the Nehalem Bay. I was referencing a Bing Map to determine if there is any public parking associated the north end of Beachside Drive? Do you know where to park so those who are interested in accessing the south jetty to fish or crab could do so? Thanks Bill
