In 2013 I was invited to participate in the Long Beach Razor Clam Festival. What an honor to share my knowledge with my fellow razor clam diggers. The razor clam diggers from Texas brought a new digging implement to the game - a game changer?

Mile by Mile Guide from the Astoria Melger Bridge to Cape Leadbetter State Park. We will post the limited information on the area until such time that we can visit the area. However for those of you who have never visited the area you are in for a real treat if digging razor clams is you objective. Bill
From the Wikipedia.: Mile 0.0 The Astoria–Megler Bridge is a steel cantilever through truss bridge that spans the Columbia River between Astoria, Oregon and Point Ellice near Megler, Washington, in the United States. Located 14 miles (23 km) from the mouth of the river, the bridge is 4.1 miles (6.6 km) long[4] and was the last completed segment of U.S. Route 101 between Olympia, Washington, and Los Angeles, California.[5] It is the longest continuous truss bridge in North America.
