Why don’t ODA, ODFW, DEQ, ODFW test razor clams, all bay clams and near shore rockfish for contaminates ?
What limited testing on bay clams proves the clams were over the limits for human health?
How come razor clams and rockfish are not being tested when the beach monitoring program puts out pollution alerts for human health warnings?
Does anyone believe we don’t have the resources to test when the State of Oregon built a 35 million dollar testing lab for DEQ & Oregon Health Authority?
Both rockfish and shellfish bio-accumulate toxic chemicals like PCBs and heavy metals like mercury. Not good.
Is the lack of testing being done so they won't find a problem that might effect permit sales?
Ask your elected official for a detailed explanation.
