The level of mercury in Oregon State Waters is rising while the State of Oregon stick their collective heads in the sand. The State refuses to test shellfish, crabs and fish for levels of contaminates and toxic substances. We cannot recommend consuming fish, clams or crabs taken from Oregon's Nearshore waters until the State can ensure that the fish, shellfish and crabs are safe to eat.

The last time we did so it took 2 months for a response from the DEG.. The Governor's Office has lost any sense of reality when addressing the needs of the people who voted Governor Brown into office. I see Kourtney Linbaugh's finger prints all over your suggestion.
I Thing you and the Oregon Health Authority and other State Agencies are hiding dangerous environmental conditions that threaten the health and safety of recreational enthusiasts. It is too difficult for OHA to provide the information we have requested or are they engaging in the standard Censorship practices that the other State Agencies embrace. Please refer to the following link for the proof of our complaint.
