Oregon landfill accepted 2 million pounds of radioactive fracking waste from North Dakota
By Laura Gunderson | The Oregonian/OregonLive
A chemical waste landfill near the Columbia Gorge has been accepting hundreds of tons of radioactive fracking waste from North Dakota in violation of Oregon regulations.
Oregon Department of Energy officials issued a “notice of violation” to Chemical Waste Management’s landfill near the small town of Arlington on Thursday for accepting a total of 2 million pounds of Bakken oil field waste that was delivered by rail in 2016, 2017 and 2019. South's comments don't go far enough!!! "The Fix is in!"
The CORRUPT BASTARDS who dumped tons of highly toxic substances into the Arlington Landfill without any consideration to the long term consequences of their illegal action on the ecological integrity of the Columbia River or Oregon's Coastal Waters should go to prison for a long time. South's point is well taken, "Who got whet and when did they get it? This is why there is the absence of leadership from top to bottom and bottom to top: No Responsibility!!! THE FIX IS IN!!! Bill
