Crabbing in Yaquina Bay from boats was hot over the last week, but it has cooled down. My grandsons and I crabbed from the dock at Yaquina Bay and we only managed to catch 1 legal sized crab but it was soft and I returned to the bay. I took 3 Dungenrss crabs and a dozen Red Rock crabs from the same dock three days prior to crabbing with my Grandsons.
Several people were fishing and on guy caught a nice sea trout while another caught several pregnant Striped seaperch.
