ODFW Biologist Lies To Commission on the value of Beavers!! While Melcher Burns Oregon!!! Do the wetlands created by beavers slow down the spread of Fires??? Comment by Bill

Dear Governor Brown,
1. If it is true you care for the environment why did Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife reject the ban on trapping keystone species in the headwaters of the National Forest? Why did ODFW present junk science to the Commission on this subject? This ban would have helped our fisheries and the effects of global warming. There is plenty of science that support this ban. Are you going to address this? Why did the Secretary of State Bev Clarno tell the Commission they could only vote on ODFW recommendations “Not to ban trapping” using junk science claiming no studies that keystone species support healthy fisheries? Why did Curt Melcher allow this to happen? He was in the room and did not address the junk science. What kind of democracy is this?
2. You have stressed the importance of testing for Covid-19, why are we not contaminate testing the marine (ocean) nearshore fish (lingcod, rockfish and halibut?) Why are we not protecting pregnant mothers and their children from mercury in these fish? Obviously ODFW cares more about their glutton budget than public safety, global warming or our fisheries.
3. We have reported to ODFW that the threatened coastal coho salmon are being illegally harvested in many of our coastal rivers and bays from lack of enforcement or ODFW fish monitoring with fish checkers. This complete disregard of this fish threatened status will doom this species from any meaningful recovery. Is this what we leave our children? Is Curt Melcher protecting these fisheries and if not why? Check how many tickets have been written in the coastal rivers and bays by State Police, these records are available. That time of the year state police are working deer hunters. This is destroying the coho ability to recover.
4. The prescription drug price gouging has not been fixed by the insurance commissioner you appointed. Why? Fixed income people have even less money because of Covid-19.If
it is not legal to price gouge Covid-19 supplies why is it legal to gouge any needed drugs during the Covid epidemic? Please explain the logic?
